Built with One Purpose — Memorial Granite for UK and France
We Built StoneCrest to Solve One Problem — Not to Sell Granite to Everyone
StoneCrest International is a memorial granite sourcing specialist for monumental masons and marbriers funéraires in the United Kingdom and France. Not tiles. Not countertops. Not hotel lobbies. Headstones. Funerary monuments. Cemetery memorials. That is the only thing this business was built for.
Why StoneCrest Exists
Our Founder spent more than two decades in international business development — working in software and IT services, managing client relationships across multiple countries, solving complex B2B problems for a living.
He did not plan to build a stone export company.
What he kept noticing — across industries, across countries — was a pattern that never seemed to go away. Buyers would do everything right. They would visit suppliers, approve samples, sign contracts, transfer payment. And then something would go wrong. Colour variation in the bulk shipment. A finish that did not match what was agreed. And then — silence. The supplier who was responsive before the payment became impossible to reach after it.
In memorial granite, this problem has consequences that go beyond business. A UK mason who delivers two headstones from the same family plot that look different shades of black in the cemetery does not just lose a client. He damages the tribute to someone’s loved one. A French marbrier whose stèle and dalle do not match on the finished monument carries that to the cemetery installation. The family sees it.
One conversation stayed with our founder. A buyer said:
“The product issue I can fix. But losing my customer because of it — that’s what hurts.”
That was the moment it became clear. The real problem in stone export was not the stone. It was the accountability — or the absence of it — after the deal was done.
StoneCrest was built to be the answer to that problem. Not the cheapest supplier. Not the biggest factory. The most accountable sourcing partner memorial manufacturers in UK and France can build a long-term relationship with.
A Specialist — Not a Generalist
There are hundreds of Indian granite exporters. Most of them will sell you anything — granite, marble, quartz, tiles, engineered stone. Whatever you need, they have it.
StoneCrest does not work that way.
We supply two products. Absolute Black and Jet Black granite for the memorial and funerary monument industry. Tan Brown granite for the same market. That is it. That focus is not a limitation — it is what makes us genuinely useful to a UK monumental mason or a French marbrier.
When you source memorial granite from a general stone exporter, you are one of a hundred different buyers with a hundred different requirements. Your colour consistency question competes for attention with someone’s kitchen countertop enquiry. Your NAMM specification gets handled by someone who last week was packing floor tiles.
When you source from StoneCrest, every part of how we work — the QC process, the size specifications we hold in our system, the documentation we provide, the way we communicate — is built around memorial granite for UK and France. Nothing else divides our attention.
How StoneCrest Controls Quality
StoneCrest does not own one quarry and one processing facility. That is a deliberate choice — and it is an advantage, not a weakness.
Indian granite is not uniform. Absolute Black from one quarry in Karnataka performs differently to Absolute Black from another. The processing facility that polishes a mirror finish to export standard for memorial granite is not the same one that handles floor tiles or construction slabs. The right product requires the right specialist.
StoneCrest controls quality standards across dedicated specialist quarrying and processing partners in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. We select the right facility for each product. We apply one quality standard across all of them. No single point of supply failure. No dependency on one processing line going down.
What this means for you as a buyer:
You deal with StoneCrest. StoneCrest is accountable — end to end. You do not need to audit our quarry partners. You do not need to understand our processing network. You need consistent, verified memorial-grade granite delivered to your specifications. That is what StoneCrest guarantees — and owns completely.
This is not how a trading company works. A trading company passes your order to a supplier and hopes for the best. StoneCrest controls the selection, the QC process, the block reference, the pre-shipment verification, and the documentation. The accountability sits with us — not with a factory you have never met.
What StoneCrest Stands For — In Practice, Not Just in Words
These are not brand values written for a website. They are the specific commitments that shape every decision we make — from how we select quarry blocks to how we respond when something goes wrong.
Products verified to your market's standards — not just shipped and forgotten.
A UK mason’s standards are different from a French marbrier’s standards, which are different again from a construction buyer’s requirements. We know the difference. Every shipment is verified against the standard your market requires — not a generic “export quality” that means something different to everyone.
Communication that does not stop at the invoice.
The invoice is not the end of our responsibility. It is the midpoint. Pre-shipment photographs. Loading confirmation. Post-arrival follow-up. We proactively send these — you do not have to ask. If something is not right when it arrives, you will not be talking to silence.
A partner invested in your local growth — not just the next transaction.
A UK mason who builds a consistent headstone business built on reliable granite supply grows. A French marbrier who can promise colour consistency to their clients wins more work. When your business grows, the relationship continues. That is the model. Not every order as a one-off transaction.
Long-term reliability you can actually make promises to your clients on.
You do not want to promise a family that their two headstones will match and then spend three weeks managing a colour variation complaint. Reliability from your supplier is what lets you make reliable promises to your clients. We understand that. Our QC process exists because of it.
Colour consistency you can stake your reputation on — every batch, every container.
Your reputation in the memorial trade is built over decades. It can be damaged in a week by a granite supplier who sends a batch that does not match. Block reference locking. Six-stage QC. Pre-shipment verification. These are not marketing phrases. They are the specific technical steps that protect your reputation.

Six-Stage Quality Control — What Happens Before Your Granite Reaches the Port
Most suppliers say “quality checked.” We can tell you exactly what that means for every StoneCrest shipment.
- STAGE 1 — Pre-Production Check: Before production begins, the quarry block is evaluated against your approved sample reference. Colour tone, surface consistency, and grade are confirmed before a single slab is cut.
- STAGE 2 — Random Production Inspection: During production, random slabs are pulled and checked against the approved reference. This catches any block variation before the full production run is complete.
- STAGE 3 — In-Line Quality Review: Slabs are inspected during the polishing process for surface consistency, mirror finish quality, and edge integrity.
- STAGE 4 — Final Inspection: Every slab in your order is inspected against your approved sample before packing. Thickness verified. Dimensions confirmed. Polish checked.
- STAGE 5 — Third-Party Inspection (On Request): An independent third-party inspector can be arranged at any stage — pre-production, mid-production, or final inspection — at the buyer's request. Certificate provided.
- STAGE 6 — Logistics Check: Before the container is sealed, a final check confirms correct packing, adequate protection, correct labelling, and documentation match. Pre-shipment photographs taken and sent to you.
Certifications and Export Credentials
-
StoneCrest International is a registered and compliant Indian granite exporter. Here is what that means in practice for you as an international buyer.

MCA — Ministry of Corporate Affairs: Registered with the Government of India under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. This registration ensures legal compliance, corporate transparency, and adherence to statutory business regulations.
Export Documentation — Provided as Standard: Every StoneCrest shipment comes with: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, material test certificate, phytosanitary certificate. No chasing us for paperwork. It is prepared and sent with every container.

Founder and Managing Director
-
We founded NexaCrest International, with StoneCrest as its dedicated memorial granite division.
His background is not in stone. It is in 21 years of international business development and client management in software and IT — industries where understanding a buyer's world, managing complex B2B relationships, and being accountable after the contract is signed are not optional. They are how you survive.
He brought that background into granite export specifically because he saw that the memorial granite trade — where consistency and accountability matter more than in almost any other category — was poorly served by suppliers who treated stone as a commodity and buyers as transactions.
StoneCrest is the result of that observation, built intentionally — not as a legacy stone business with inherited habits, but as a sourcing brand designed from the start to operate the way international memorial granite buyers actually need a supplier to operate.
He is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka — the heart of India's Absolute Black granite region.

The Buyers We Are Built For
-
We are not the right supplier for everyone. That is intentional.
If you are sourcing granite for kitchen countertops, bathroom renovations, hotel flooring, or construction projects — we are not your supplier. We do not supply those applications, and we would not be the right sourcing partner for them.
If you are a UK monumental mason who needs consistent Absolute Black granite for upright headstones and cremation tablets — we are built for you.
If you are a UK memorial granite wholesaler supplying a network of masons and you cannot afford colour variation to reach your customers — we are built for you.
If you are a French marbrier funéraire who cuts stèles, dalles, and soubassements and needs every component of a monument to match — we are built for you.
If you are a French grossiste funéraire supplying a regional marbrier network and you need volume-consistent Noir Absolu — we are built for you.
The specificity is the point. The more specific we are about who we serve, the better we serve them.
About StoneCrest — Common Questions
When was StoneCrest International founded?
StoneCrest International was established as the dedicated memorial granite division of NexaCrest International Private Limited, in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
Is StoneCrest International a manufacturer or a trading company?
Neither label fits accurately. StoneCrest is a memorial granite sourcing brand that controls quality standards across dedicated specialist quarrying and processing partners in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
We are not a trading company — a trading company passes orders to suppliers and takes a margin. StoneCrest selects the quarry block, specifies the QC process, locks the block reference at sample approval, conducts pre-shipment verification, and takes full accountability for the shipment end to end.
We are not a single-factory manufacturer — which would mean one processing facility handling all products. Our model — the right specialist facility for each product, managed to one quality standard — eliminates the single point of supply failure that comes with factory dependency.
Does StoneCrest supply memorial granite outside the UK and France?
UK and France are our primary focus markets at this stage. We have active enquiries from buyers across multiple countries. Secondary markets — including Germany, Poland, Belgium, and the Netherlands — are on our expansion roadmap and will be activated as we build the supply relationships to serve them properly.
If you are based outside UK and France and you are a memorial granite buyer, we are happy to have a conversation. Contact us with your requirements.
Does StoneCrest supply raw polished slabs or finished headstones?
Primarily raw polished slabs and cut-to-size blanks — for UK monumental masons and French marbriers who do their own fabrication, engraving, and installation.
We also supply shaped and finished memorial pieces — upright scroll headstones, custom monument components — from our Bengaluru fabrication network. If you are looking for finished pieces, contact us with your design specifications and we will confirm availability.
How do I start sourcing granite from StoneCrest International?
Send us your specifications — granite variety (Absolute Black, Jet Black, or Tan Brown), required dimensions and thickness, finish, and approximate volume. We come back to you with relevant details, slab photographs, and a sample offer within one working day.
If you are not sure yet — a polished sample is the right first step. Contact us and we will arrange it.
